Our benefits

You will receive a great salary dependent on experience and a generous holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays plus 1 day for each year worked. You can also purchase up to 5 extra days.

You will work both at home and in our office in Fernwood, Newark. You will have set days in the office but may also be required to travel to clients’ premises occasionally.

The hours worked are flexible, as long as they are worked within the week, so if you have an appointment you need to go to, you can make the time up whenever!

Management accountant

We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team!

You will play a key role in the growth of our clients at Future Cloud Accounting, advising on finance-related decisions and business forecasting. We want our clients to feel comfortable that they can talk to us. We want to guide them on future decisions and be as proactive as possible when it comes to their tax and planning.

  • Preparation of accurate and timely monthly/quarterly management accounts, including group consolidation adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Offer valuable insight into our business’s growth plans
  • Identifying and quantifying areas of financial opportunity and risk.
  • Supporting with preparation of budget and forecast inputs.
  • Analyse the company’s financial performance
  • Help make business decisions

Payroll employee

We are hiring for a Payroll Employee to manage our client’s employee salaries and keep an accurate record of employee hours, ensuring everyone is paid on time.

Also, as a Future Cloud Payroll employee, you can help the company make decisions about our growth and future plans when it comes to growing our payroll department.

We are looking for someone with proficiency in a variety of payroll software, like Xero, Employment Hero, and Bright (as examples).

  • Verify how many hours employees have worked
  • Record payroll data in the company’s software system
  • Calculate overtime, salary increases and shift payments
  • Process holiday, sick and maternity pay
  • Issue P45s and other necessary tax forms
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints about payroll
  • Deduct tax and national insurance payments
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Familiarity with common payroll software
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills

Essenital:
We are looking for a candidate with experience of Payroll, Bookkeeping or Payroll Administration.

Desirable:
You may have completed courses, qualifications or an apprenticeship relating to payroll, however this is not a necessity.

Cloud bookkeeper

  • You will be a bookkeeper with some accounting knowledge who has worked with Xero to deliver a great service.
  • Ideally, you will know Xero inside out and will be able to correct errors made previously and clean up old data.
  • You will be able to use Microsoft Excel to a basic standard. Knowledge of systems which integrate with Xero will also be an advantage.
  • You will be able to prepare, reconcile and submit VAT returns and liaise with clients to let them know how much to pay.
  • You will be comfortable liaising with clients on the phone and email to obtain all the information needed.
  • You will be able to complete the bookkeeping to standard that means that we can use the figures at any point in the year to see an accurate profit figure and minimal adjustments will be needed when the year-end accounts are prepared
